We have opened up a book of condolence for Jonathan. He meant so much to so many of us we felt it only fitting to have somewhere where we can share our thoughts, memories and reflections of the man himself.
I worked with Jonathan for a number of years. A thoroughly decent man. A real gentleman with a great sense of humour.

I have deep respect and reverence for Jonathan Farrington and so sad to hear of his passing. I appreciate his wry sense of humor and no BS approach to business and life. I will miss his generous spirit and our candid conversations about the sales industry. He was truly iconic.

I have incredibly fond thoughts of Jonathan as he was warm, witty, inclusive and made all feel welcome into his "Merry band of brothers" as he called the collection of sales experts, consultants and coaches which he welcomed me into. He will certainly be missed not just in the sales world, but in the world. He was human in an ever increasing inhumane world. Rest in peace Jonathan.

I was shocked as we all are I am sure. I recall speaking to Jonathan in the very early days of TSW discussing Sales Management both in challenging Pod Casts and thru just funny emails. A great thought leader, smart and clearly an entrepreneur. He had an impact worldwide.

The world has suffered a great loss. “JF,” thank you for all of the contributions you’ve made to the sales leadership profession and the lives you’ve changed, especially mine. I’ve had the distinct pleasure of working and collaborating with Jonathan for over 20 years. He’s not just a colleague, visionary, and thought leader, but a close friend. He had this unique ability to pull great minds together to collaborate for a greater good. His valued work will continue to make an impact and contribute to our global community, today and tomorrow. You will always be remembered, and your impact will live on. I miss my dear friend.

I am so saddened and shocked to learn of Jonathan’s passing. He was the first in our space to put ego aside and bring competitive, but like-minded sales experts together, believing that as a group, our messages would be more powerful, more likely to elevate sales, and more likely to be heard than if we continued in our silos. Over the past ten years, Jonathan succeeded in that mission and with Top Sales World, Top Sales Magazine, Top Sales Library and Top Sales Awards, he brought attention, recognition and a tremendous following to a large group of sales experts. We will miss you Jonathan, but you work isn’t done and we will march on to complete what you started.

Jonathan Farrington, whom we lost this month, was a true thought leader in an industry that perhaps uses that term too freely. He was a genuine professional, a relentless innovator, and a shrewd observer of trends both large and small that had the potential to affect the success profile of sales professionals.
Jonathan wore many hats - internationally recognized author, coach, speaker, mentor, editor – and he wore them all well. He left people feeling better for having worked with him and having known him. We were honored that he served as a long-term supporter and ally of the Sandler philosophy and of everyone in the Sandler organization. He was also a good friend. He will be missed.

I was very saddened to learn this news today. I had the pleasure to know Jonathan for the past four years. While we never met in person we spoke many times and I had great respect for his knowledge and position in the industry and enjoyed him as a person. My mother grew up in a town on the southeast coast of England and Jonathan would even give me occasional updates of having been to the town during his travels. I had hoped to meet him in person one day. He will be greatly missed.

The world lost a fine soul and sales champion filled with wit, humor and drive. I never had the pleasure of meeting Jonathan in person, but he phoned me regularly. He spoke his mind. He didn't always tell me what I wanted to hear, but what I needed to hear and for that, I am forever grateful. He uplifted women, (adored many and called them out by name) . May your memory continue to be a blessing.

I am forever grateful to Jonathan for giving me and so many new voices a platform over the years. Being a part of this community he created and personally tended to introduced me to a whole tribe of brilliant professionals trying to raise the bar on the sales profession. I will miss his cheeky humor and the quick-witted repartee, that despite his many commitments, he always managed to find time to engage in. I for one will continue to keep up his spirit of always challenging the status quo - and managing to have some good fun along the way.
My heartfelt sympathy and best wishes to his dear friends and family.

Shocked and saddened.
Jonathan was THE biggest supporter of all of us who are trying to impact the sales world.
His sass and smarts will be sorely missed.
Sympathies and prayers to Nathalie and the "kids". And Jacqueline - oh I feel sad for you!!!
Thank you Jonathan for all you've done in the 14 years I've known you to raise others up.
