We have opened up a book of condolence for Jonathan. He meant so much to so many of us we felt it only fitting to have somewhere where we can share our thoughts, memories and reflections of the man himself.
I remember the day Jonathan posed for those portraits. They captured his vibrant personality and he was so happy. Losing Jonathan is heartbreaking. His love of sales and his talent have made an indelible mark. My prayers are with his family and love ones. Linda Richardson

Jonathan was one of those rare human beings that was smart, humble, generous and…..quite funny.
I am so appreciative of the many opportunities he gave all of us to share insights and learn.
Rest in peace and know you made a difference.

So sad. Such a loss of for so many of us in the sales world who have known Jonathan for years and interacted with him and enjoyed his charm, wit, and wisdom. I've so respected him over the years that I was honored that Jonathan agreed to write the foreword to my upcoming book launching in Q1. He sent me a note recently telling me he was working on it but had become ill. I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. My heartfelt condonlences to his family and his global friends.

I was never fortunate enough to meet Jonathan in the flesh - I though there would be time to meet some time after lockdowns ended - but we talked on the phone, via Zoom & via email many times.
Jonathan was always supportive, unfailingly polite and cheerful and a true pleasure to work with. He did a tremendous amount for the sales profession through his magazines and awards but much more importantly he was a good friend, a great advocate and a wonderful example of humanity and ethics, in sales and in life.
The fact that so many well known sales authors and experts have expressed their sorrow and their friendship is a testament to Jonathan. I deeply regret never having had a chance to shake his hand and share a drink with him and I know those who did have a deep abiding affection for him. He will be very sadly missed but his legacy will continue.

I never met Jonathan, but admired the work he did to help both raise the profile of sales and help salespeople develop
He will be missed.
I hope his legacy lived on and we continue to see his initiatives grow

I am grateful that Jonathan offered me an opportunity to share my thoughts on sales leadership with his readers.
I enjoyed his positive attitude and passion for sales and those who have made sales their profession. The sales world has lost a dedicated champion.

I am simply heartbroken that my friend JF is no longer with us. He was a huge supporter and advocate for me for over 15 years. JF used to tell me I was one of those people who 'get it.' And he surrounded himself with likeminded people. He's the only professional connection who called me by my childhood nickname (thanks to my sister sharing it with him).
JF, I'm going to miss our conversations and banter. The sales and leadership world has lost a true champion. I can only hope that you are in a better place and that we will see each other again some day. Give 'em hell!

I've known and partnered with Jonathan for many years. I solely flew to London from San Diego several years ago to have lunch with Jonathan to meet him face to face and discuss how we could work more closely together. Over the past several years, I've participated in numerour Top Sales World events for Jonathan. I loved his sense of humor and business smarts, He will be sorely missed.

It's hard to imagine that such a vibrant and dynamic presence is gone. Jonathan embodied too many fine attributes to list but perhaps his most endearing quality was that whatever he did, he did with grace. We miss all our friends who move on, but it feels as though this loss will sting more deeply, given Jonathan's constant dependability. At the end of the day, he could always, always be counted on. That's quite a legacy and quite a lesson to leave us all.
Thank you for being an amazing friend, Jonathan. Godspeed.

What a huge loss. What a kind, kind, human. Jonathan just seemed to know how to bring the best in all he touched. If you sent Jonathan a note... the reply was always thoughtful, warm and encouraging.
While I did not have the bandwidth to become a contributor, Jonathan in his own kind way would not let me off the hook. He talked me into becoming a judge for his beloved awards. What an honour for me.
Jonathan, you have left a wonderful legacy. We will be talking warmly about you for many, many years to come. That is the impact you have had on us. What a blessing your are and have been. Rest easy. Rest well. Sincerely, Pat
