What are they thinking about sitting in traffic?

Tibor Shanto - 14 January 2020

By Tibor Shanto
In a previous life, I used to be a cab driver; as a result, I still use a lot of driving references. People who work with me know I believe in leaving your product in the car, makes for a better conversation. And when you think about it, we are a car culture, and in addition to going from point A to point B, we do other things in the car. One of those is thinking. In driving nightmares like Toronto, sitting in traffic, you have a lot of time to think. In 2016, approximately 854,000 Canadian car commuters spent at least 60 minutes traveling to work. Assuming your target buyer was one of these commuters, what are they thinking about while in routine traffic? What are they thinking about when traffic is bad, and the pressure builds?
